Smithers North Schedule Resumes May 3, 2010
Northern Thunderbird Air is pleased to announce the the resumption of our Smithers North Schedule starting on May 3, 2010. This service from Smithers, BC to Dease Lake, BC and Bob Quinn Lake, BC has been part of the NT Air route network since 2000 and operates on a three days per week frequency every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Prince George Customer Information
Since the fire that destroyed our Prince George hangar in December, Northern Thunderbird Air has been steadily re-establishing previous service levels to our valued clientele.
We are happy to announce that we can now recommence freight acceptance during our full business hours. Freight drop-off and pick-up for all Prince George charter flights and our Williston Lake scheduled flights can now be done at our administration building located at 3900 Grumman Road. This facility is also known as Hill Aircraft or Esso (see attached map). Our offices are located on the upper floor of this building and we will process freight between the hours of 8AM and 4PM. We require that freight is dropped off 45 minutes before flight time for same day shipping.
We have also secured counter space in the main terminal and will be checking in most flights from our own station there starting on March 1, 2010. We have been sharing space at the terminal with Central Mountain Air since December and we want to thank these YXS based employees for their help and patience over these last months.
With operating from the terminal also comes the fees associated for all airlines that process passengers through this great facility. Therefore, starting March 1, 2010 all Williston Lake scheduled fares will see an increase of $18.00 plus GST for each Prince George originating passenger to cover the YXS Airport Improvement Fee (AIF). While no one wants to see cost increases occur (NT Air has held the line on pricing for many years) we also recognize the enhancement of operating from the terminal for all our passengers.
