The DeHavilland Twin Otter is world renowned as the best medium sized short take off and landing (STOL) aircraft available. It is rugged, versatile and yet operates very well in both the Instrument and Visual Flight Rules environments. It has a 4000 pound short haul payload and a 3000 pound long haul payload and can seat up to 19 passengers. This Canadian designed and built aircraft responds very well to the challenges presented by the rugged mountainous terrain of British Columbia.
