An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) since 1996, Shawna has been with Northern Thunderbird Air Since September of 2001. Prior to then she worked as an AME with NT Air’s sister company – Central Mountain Air starting in 1998. With NT Air, Shawna has earned her way from an AME on the floor to Lead Hand to Maintenance Manager to Quality Assurance Manager. She led the process of taking the maintenance department from its reliance on contract maintenance to the full implementation of our Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO). She is a strong partner in the leadership of our AMO to ensure high quality workmanship and performance.
